Explore the Gorge

We offer a variety of scenic and historic tours. Much of the area has not changed since the days of Lewis and Clark. You will see many natural and man made wonders, including the evidence of massive Ice Age floods unique to this area. Select from our tours or customize your own, making whatever stops you want along the way. Our tasting excursions let you relish local taste treats ranging from fresh fruits to wines and micro-brews. Marvel at majestic mountains and breathtaking panoramas en route.

Created from layers of massive lava flows, shaped by landslides and titanic flooding, the Columbia River Gorge is unique worldwide. The Columbia River Gorge cuts through the Cascade Mountain Range separating the states or Oregon and Washington. While the river is nearly sea level, basalt lava escarpments reach 4000' on either side. Drastic differences in rainfall create a rain forest like environment to the west, and arid high desert to the east.

Because of its vast natural diversity, the Columbia River Gorge is a haven for seekers of wildflowers, waterfalls, wind and waves. Used as a major travel corridor for over 10,000 years by Native Americans, explorers and pioneers, the Gorge was instrumental in settling the Pacific Northwest.

"Thank you so much for making the wine tour this month such a success. It was a real hit and we look forward to another wine tour next year. It all worked out great!"

"We will be happy to highly recommend you to any of our friends who should need transportation services in the Gorge area, and your company will be who we will call if we ourselves decide to take a vacation tour in the future.”
